This Social Security Number (AMKA) is unique and provides access to health and labor services.
In order to obtain the AMKA you need:
- Copy of a valid passport
- Residence permit for studies with the right of access to part-time work (for students from third countries)
- Copy of the employment contract
- Certificate of family status translated in Greek by certified translator (names also written in latin characters).
- Certificate of registration for citizens of the Union residing in Greece as students (for EU-students)
The Unified Social Security Fund (EFKA) has been designated as the competent authority for the processing of the AMKA directly to EFKA of the student's area of residence.
